WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a passionate engineer to help us architect, build, and maintain the the web components of the Titles ecosystem. You are a driven developer who enjoys critically thinking about the best ways to build a new product and who takes full ownership in creating a brand new codebase that will be the basis for many products to come. You excel in working with collaborators to make product and design decisions, inventing creative solutions to test hypotheses and deal with ambiguity, and planning your own requirements based on your understanding of the product. You build and iterate quickly and aren't afraid to change course in the face of new information, but you don't sacrifice the maintainability and longevity of your code. You build the infrastructure and environment to support a quickly growing product, team, and company.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Build and ship the web experience for consuming and interacting with Titles media.
- Contribute across product strategy, feedback sessions, and brainstorming.
- Collaborate on the implementation of backend architecture and API design to support the Titles web experience.
- Conduct experiments and build growth systems to find and scale new ways to reach our audience.
- Build new and interactive ways to interact with our core user demographics, such as a landing page or creator dashboard.
SKILLS WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Extensive experience with a modern frontend web development framework like React, Angular, or Vue.
- Experience building and shipping full-fledged products from start to finish.
- Experience engineering features that span both the frontend and backend stacks.
- Solid conceptual understanding of full stack software development including system architecture and web serving infrastructure.
- Ability to learn quickly and work in areas beyond your core competencies.
- Attention to detail, including an appreciation for good documentation, clean code, performance, reliability, and security.
- Ability to develop unique perspectives on the future of the Titles product and roadmap based on product feedback and usage.
