Do I retain ownership of my AI model?

Yes. When you create and upload an AI model to TITLES, you retain ownership of that model. You're granting TITLES and its users a license to use it within the platform and protocol.

What about the training data I upload?

You retain ownership of any original work you upload to train your models. By uploading, you're confirming you have the rights to use that material for AI training purposes.

Who owns the outputs when someone uses my model?

The person who generates the output owns their creation. However, your model's contribution is tracked through our lineage system, so if someone uses that output commercially outside TITLES, there's a clear record of which artists should be compensated. TITLES can help facilitate such payment in the event.

What rights does TITLES have to my content?

TITLES retains rights to store, display, publish, index, and analyze the metadata and lineage data associated with your model and its outputs. This metadata is essential to how the protocol functions. In other words, it's what enables attribution and payments to flow back to you.

Models & Training

Can I remove my model from TITLES after publishing it?

Yes, you can request to remove your model from the platform. However, there are important considerations:

• Future use stops: Once removed, no new outputs can be generated using your model.
• Existing outputs remain: Outputs already created using your model will continue to exist. Users who generated them retain their rights to those specific outputs.
• Lineage persists: The attribution data linking those outputs to your model remains in the protocol. This is necessary to maintain the integrity of the payment system for any future commercial use.
