Two years ago, we launched TITLES with a simple premise. What if artists got to define how they're represented in AI models? What would they create and how would they use it? What could happen if artists were able to earn from their participation in AI?

We built the first version fast. You showed up, made things, pushed us to think harder about what this could be. We learned so much and now we're taking those learnings and upgrading TITLES. In our recent essay, we described what's to come. A new creative tools experience that gives each user a set of powerful tools coupled with our new infrastructure that unites attribution, provenance, and payments.

So we've rebuilt TITLES from scratch and it's coming soon. Below you'll find more details about how things are changing and what to expect as we migrate into the new version of TITLES. Please read through carefully and respond with any questions you might have.

FAQ

What's happening to TITLES?

Until now, TITLES has offered a single model experience: pick a model, type a prompt, create in that artist's style, and publish to the feed. TITLES is now getting an upgraded creative tooling suite we're calling Studio. Studio lets you work across multiple models, tools, and media in one place. Attribution and earnings will be routed at the moment of generation, not only at publishing. For artists, these changes mean a faster, cleaner experience with better tools and more ways to create. For model owners, it means more consistent, real-time earnings every time their model is used. For everyone, it means a more dynamic, capable, and impactful TITLES.

What happens to my unpublished work?

Unpublished images will not carry over and cannot be recovered once the current version is replaced. Generation history from the current version will not carry over into Studio.

To preserve any unpublished images:

What happens to my published work?

Published works remain permanently recorded onchain. You can find all of them on services such as OpenSea. However, moving forward, they will not be accessible through the new interface once TITLES relaunches. If you'd like those images more handy, we'd recommend that you manually download them.

What happens to my work I've minted?

On TITLES, publishing means logging your work on the blockchain where it's permanently findable and attributed to you. Minting creates a token assigned to your work, which is kept in your wallet, and is owned and tradable by you.

Nothing changes to your previously minted works. They will remain safely in your external wallet.
